COP-report 2021

Travel and transportation by train – Caldaro COP-report 2021

We committed to the UN Global Compact in 2019, and our work to increase our sustainability goes on. We continue our support for the UN Global Compact and renew our company’s ongoing commitment to the initiative and its principles.

Did you know that sixty percent of our cars are plug-in hybrid electric cars and that we plan out travel routes to limit carbon dioxide emissions? Ninety-five percent of our meetings were digital meetings during 2021. We aim to place more production in Sweden, which means less transportation. At the same time, these last years have been coloured by the corona pandemic which has forced us to travel less for example, but it also means we have learned new ways.

Our headquarters is in an environmentally certified building, and our production site in Flen has Sweden’s largest solar cell roof of thin-film.  That’s pretty cool, and we are glad for every step we can take in the right direction: sustainability. We are changing our habits and the commitment to becoming more sustainable is changing our staff’s mindset.

The goals we work with

We have added one goal to focus on since last year, so now we work with:

  • Goal 5: Gender equality.
  • Goal 8: Decent working conditions and economic growth.
  • Goal 9: Sustainable industry, innovations, and infrastructure.
  • Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities. (New!)
  • Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production.
