The iVT Expo was held on two beautiful warm days in Cologne, Germany, from June 29th to 30th. CEO Claudio Talamo and Sales Engineer Thomas Plahn from Caldaro joined forces with representatives from other Addtech companies. It is nice to see how well the different Addtech companies complement each other and how everybody truly represents not only their own brand but also acts as a good advocate for the parent company Addtech.
IVT attracts a relevant crowd of people for sure. They may not appear in hordes, but just about every visitor who came to our booth had a keen interest in our products, and we could not be happier with the show’s outcome. Caldaro’s working model to customise products to emphasise our controls’ ergonomics and “feel” was very well received.
The industrial vehicle market is undergoing a rapid shift to zero emissions that will continue to accelerate. OEMs will develop more and more emission-free machines. So, the focus was definitely on electrification at this year’s iVT. We also saw a lot of interest in ergonomic design and human-machine interaction. With this in mind, Caldaro has a strong and relevant portfolio of products.
